The NPC hosted open championship.

As part of the preliminary preparation towards Commonwealth Game in India, the NPC hosted open championship in order to get athlete’s names for preliminary registration through the team organizer (Tanzania Olympic Committee).

The event involved were:
i. Athletics:
1. 100m class T46
2. Shot put class F32/34/52 (for men and F32-34/52/53 (women)

ii. Table Tennis for women

iii. Powerlifting for both men and women.

Wheelchair Tennis Training for Junior

Salvation Army Primary Schools is among the NPC Sports centre in Dar es Salaam of which more efforts are being exerted by the NPC for future investment.

The centre has over 200 students (physically handicapped) from standard one to seven.
